In Bob's own words- "So how have I been passing the time since 1960? By working, mostly. After a BA at Howard U., an MBA from Columbia (roommate: Bill Sales; classmate: Bill Young, incidentally), a CAPT from the USAF, and 23 years in IT sales, training, and management at IBM and DEC, I left the alphabet soup world behind. Then came an entrepreneurial fling in Mexico. Results mixed, it was onward and upward again. Self-employed, I’ve trotted around the globe since then (1995), showing corporate and government execs how to achieve by acting in ways that build trust. It’s a job that’s a joy not a job! My other great joy in all this? ¾ Mae, my loving, supportive, accomplished-in-her-own- right wife of 43 years, who resides with me in Mount Vernon, NY, and my fledgling actress daughter, who toils in L.A. Overseas travel is a big deal in our family. We have vacationed in London, Hong Kong, Vienna, the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, and the Caymans. I‘ve been privileged to teach at industry-leading companies in most of those places and in Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Budapest, Milan, and Puerto Rico. Things didn’t always “come up roses,” but what a life! We truly have been blessed.I am grateful for my Central education and the rich camaraderie I received. Lacking them, I would surely not have enjoyed the opportunities and experiences I have mentioned. In gratitude, therefore, I raise a cup to you, “old high.”
