The beautiful Horticultural Hall built for the United States Centennial of 1876 adjacent to Parkside Avenue and 44th Street in West Philadelphia still hosts many horticultural events. Bedecked with a multitude of statues and fountains, the hall is centered in West Fairmount Park about a mile from the Philadelphia Zoo.
